Cory Ray
The Occupation Party (TOP) is pleased to announce the candidacy of Cory Ray for New York State Assembly, District 24.
Mr. Ray is dedicated to the TOP core values of transparent government and getting money out of politics. As a candidate who believes he can help usher in change, Mr. Ray says ” I believe that you deserve a personal phone call, email, text message, or any other meaningful contact to solicit your support for every single measure the government might affect you with.” He stands on the principles of direct representation and general assembly-style consensus that will take us from the government we currently have to one that will work better for all citizens.
Cory Ray is one of many Occupiers who seeks to take the message of the OWS movement into our government at all levels in order to reform the system so that it represents everyone.

Lance Enderle
The Occupation Party (TOP) is pleased to announce that it endorses Lance Enderle, Democratic candidate for Congress from Michigan’s 8th district.
Mr. Enderle represents what we think of as the ideal candidate. In his own words, he says, “I am not afraid to make the hard decisions that are needed, and will never forget who I represent. I want to be a voice of the people and not the special interests. Money should not be the dominant influence on our political process, it is imperative that we get back to the root of our great American experiment called Democracy.” He has been involved with Occupy Lansing from the start, and his positions on important issues are aligned with our draft platform.
He’s been through life’s ups and downs: he’s a parent and a grandfather. He’s been a teacher in the Lansing school district and has a master’s degree in special education. He has direct experience with modern economic life, having been laid off from a teaching position while still paying for a mortgage, paying for college loans, and supporting his family.

Be advised that Fed Techs are blocking access. Have been posting on search engines and via Thom Hartmann’s chat room. They don’t want this site to be visited.
Hi Dave,
I think the problem was on the Hartmann website. Their original link to the TOP website gave the URL as http://www.theoccupationparty.com. That URL takes you to a panoramic photo of OWS in Zucotti Park in October 2011.
